Subject: 'UKBN' Clacton Bus Rally Feeder Routes

Hi All,

On June 6th this year it is the 2nd Clacton Bus Rally and 50th Anniversary celebrations for Hedingham Omnibuses. The Hedingham depot will be open to visitors from 11am with buses on display from various operators and preservations at the Clacton Factory Outlet Car Park just up the road. Buses will operate from the Outlet/Hedingham Depot to Clacton Town Centre every 30 minutes via Holland on sea. There will also be an hourly service to Weeley and occasional journies to other villages locally to Clacton. Hedingham service 137 will also be operating as normal between Clacton and The depot/outlet every 30 minutes (normal fares apply on route 137).

We also have two feeder journies coming to Clacton as follows:

Route X53 with a vehicle supplied with thanks to Ensignbus. This will pick up at Chelmsford Bus Station Stand 3 (08.45) Witham Newlands Street (09.00) Kelvedon (09.10) Marks Tey Station Lay-by (09.15), Colchester High Street Hippodrome (09.30)

Route 123 with a vehicle supplied with thanks to the Eastern Transport Collection. This will pick up at Ipswich buttermarket bus station (09.30)

If you are interested in joining the feeder routes please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes prior to departure time. We have 45 vehicles currently
entered for the bus rally and expect over 50 on the day so it looks to be an event well worth coming along to.
